TEAM INFORMATION

Systems Team

The systems team takes a look at how the campus community currently reduces materials and waste, reduces energy use, and produces greenhouse gases. Costs, behaviors and education that might influence these activities are also identified by the team. There are 29 people on the systems team – 8 faculty, 13 staff and 8 students.

Technical Teams

The technical teams further engage faculty, staff and students to work on specific goals related to their focus areas. Technical teams conduct projects in the following areas:

Energy
Materials
Cost and Returns
Behavior
Communications
Transportation

Operations Teams

Operations teams investigate and evaluate the processes, suggest modifications to improve campus sustainability, and determine what happens when these changes are made. Operations teams are formed as new projects come forward as a result of systems team research.
