Michigan State University’s history as a land-grant university has made it green from the beginning. MSU continues to expand its commitment with the Be Spartan Green campaign which actively engages students, faculty, staff and visitors to take action every day.
From February 2 to March 29, Michigan State University will compete in RecycleMania, an annual eight-week recycling competition between more than 400 colleges and universities across North America. Schools compete in several categories to see who can collect the most recyclable materials and reduce their landfilled waste. The goal of the event is to increase awareness of recycling and waste management programs at participating schools by involving students, faculty and staff in a fun and friendly competsition.Tweets by @BeSpartanGreen
